On February 22nd, we joined with CSA farmers from across the country to celebrate CSA Day.
A CSA (community-supported agriculture) is a subscription you make to a season’s worth of sustainable, locally grown produce that you pick up at the farm weekly from mid June to mid October. Littleton Community Farm is a non-profit organization with a mission to fight hunger in our community. When you buy a CSA share, you also help us provide CSA shares to local families experiencing food insecurity, and to deliver thousands of pounds of fresh vegetables to local food pantries.
RIGHT NOW is an important time of year for us because this is when we invest in seed, equipment, and the labor it takes to grow for the 2019 season. Get your CSA share now, or make a donation to help cover the cost of a CSA share for a local family experiencing food insecurity, and help us prepare for another successful growing season. As a CSA shareholder you will enjoy high quality, fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers, grown using organic practices, all summer, and you will be:
- reducing food insecurity in our area;
- eating healthful foods;
- kind to our planet;
- learning something new;
- adventurous in the kitchen

If you are already signed up, or just want to help us spread the word, please help us by sharing a post about LCF CSA on social media: “Littleton Community Farm is selling 2019 CSA Shares. Join me in supporting our local community farm”.
